Mobile App Developers

Central London

Full Time. £35,000-40,000 depending on experience

We are seeking experienced and motivated mobile app developers to develop digital music applications on iPhone, Symbian, Android and other mobile platforms. You’ll be part of a small but focused team delivering a top quality mobile experience to consumers.

You will design and develop cutting edge mobile applications, integrating them with the latest social networking trends to provide consumers with an awesome app experience. You will primarily be responsible for implementing and building key parts of the user interface in an exciting, fast-moving environment. This role requires the ability to hit the ground running, an enthusiastic approach and the ability to multi-task to get the job done with a minimum of supervision.

To be considered for this position you’ll be a solid and organised mobile apps professional with the following key skills/attributes:

• - Experience on some or all of the following platforms
  • - iPhone (Objective C, X-code), App Store procedures
  • - Symbian S60 (C++)
  • - Android (Android SDK, Java)
  • - Blackberry (Java, Blackberry JDE)
• - Agile development practices
• - Experience of developing UI and interaction
• - Good social networking knowledge
• - Degree educated, ideally computer science.
• - Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• - A passion for music

To succeed in the role you will also need to have a good understanding of how social networking and technology is changing the music industry.

You should be:

• - Passionate about mobile technology and up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry
• - A clear communicator – demonstrable writing and communication skills are a must have for this role, as is the desire to produce neat and well documented code
• - Able to manage tasks under pressure – and an ability to demonstrate times when you've done this in the past
• - A good problem solver, and the desire to learn and embrace new technologies as they come along
• - Open to building a team of people reporting to you as you grow your own career
• - UK Resident or able to work in the UK
