Bounce Mobile is an award winning digital music company that creates mobile applications to enable users to engage and interact with their music. We’re the company behind the Fireplayer remixing app which is currently available on the App Store. We create artist branded re-mix apps for everyone from The Saturdays to Motorhead and will shortly be launching a series of apps in conjunction with major UK radio groups We are growing our team and are looking to hire great people that are passionate about music, mobile and social media.

iOS Application Developer

 

Bounce Mobile, the interactive music company behind the Fireplayer remixer, is looking for a junior to mid-level iOS developer with a keen interest in music.

 

Joining the Bounce team, you will be using our core APIs to develop a range of interactive, multi-track audio applications on iOS.  We're looking self-starters who would be willing to turn their hand to a little bit of everything, and enjoy life at an early-stage startup company.

 

Key Duties Include:

  1. - Programming using Objective C
  2. - Working in a flexible manner, able to quickly build prototypes and find paths to scale for production
  3. - Developing and maintaining UI framework for applications
  4. - Creative input on developing new uses and new directions for our multi-track audio technology

Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements:

  1. - Proficient at using Objective C
  2. - Basic OpenGL knowledge
  3. - Proven experience building and deploying iOS apps
  4. - Exposure to Agile product development methodologies
  5. - Able to quickly pick up new technologies and incorporate them into products
  6. - Relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent experience

 

 Nice to Haves:

  1. - Familiar with Java, C++ or C#
  2. - Experience with game development
  3. - Knowledge of game design
  4. - Knowledge of audio editing packages (Ableton, Logic, ProTools)
  5. - Knowledge of other platforms including, but not limited to, Linux, and Android
